And that is exactly the problem. You are setting yourself up as the arbiter of what is permitted behavior and what is sinful. You are setting yourself up as God. And that is exactly the problem with narrow minded people. The standards you think exist in the Bible did not exist at the time it was written. And the words you think are so clear are not. Christians would be far more successful in getting people to accept them if they were to cease being so close minded and judgmental about things they think are absolute truth which very clearly are not. Focus on the love and forget the hate and condemnation. Then people will respect you. At the moment most would dismiss you.

Your argument is based upon emotion, cultural conditioning and self-righteous bias. There is nothing either scientific or godly in the standards you propose. You fail on both accounts. If you would try to be a little more open minded, you may just learn something. Clearly you are not a biblical scholar.
