As someone who is probably much older than you and trans woman, I can tell you that my whole life I have maneuvered through the world from the perspective of a woman. I have always shared their values and conduct my life in the same way most nurturing and caring women would. When my children were younger, I was the primary caregiver. My wife had little interest. To grow up being forced to play a role as a male which society assumed me to be, and not actually be one, Is incredibly traumatic. I have been subject to the patriarchy my whole life, I just had to suffer in silence. Now that I am a fully transformed woman, I have been able to throw off the shackles of concealment and oppression.

Eclectic trans woman, terminally curious. Too many degrees. Trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. Attract stray puppies and social outcasts
