Au contraire. While I agree that gender exists on a spectrum, it is not a normal bell curve. It is heavily skewed to one side or the other with a tiny population existing between the extremes. In saying this, it is also true that gender is not a popularity contest. Each spot on the curve (spectrum) has equal validity since each gender identity is a natural variation in the human species. But you missed the point of my argument. To boil it down to its essentials, it is that gender has a biological basis. It is not a social construct. Gender roles are, but not identity.
