I am not enraged, just exasperated. Too many comment about the Ukraine war without knowing the people or the moral rot in Russia. They also don’t understand the actual strength of the Ukrainian military in the face of aggression by a larger neighbor that is incompetent and is employing masses of troops, which really don’t want to fight. Why do you think the Russians use three lines in their offensive attacks? The Frontline are sent to die and are guarded by a second line that will kill them if they try to retreat. The third line is army regulars, who will kill the members of the second line who refuse to shoot their comrades. You really think this is the kind of army that will prevail in the bloody conflict? I think not. People still underestimate the power and resolve of Ukraine as a whole and the power of it’s Miltary. They saw a glimpse of it last year in the Ukrainian offensives. With more and better weapons, it will be even more spectacular this time in all likelihood. Let’s wait several months and see how this works out. I think the skeptics will be surprised.

There are a lot of good articles posted here on Medium by people who are either in Ukraine or Ukrainian. There are also writers who have experience with Russia and its politics and military. Many of them are seasoned veterans. That is where you will get the good information, not from arm chair quarterbacks and academics who know nothing about the history of the country and what is currently going on. The information is available for those who want to know the truth and are more thoughtful in their analysis.
