I couldn’t agree more Marie. I think there are very few (if any) trans women who are as insensitive as this school of thought would have us believe. It seems to be the kind of urban myth that is taking on a life of its own. I am not aware of any particular incidences of this. A similar narrative was pushed by the BBC in the UK. It was based upon the statements of a sex worker who was manipulated by the TERF crowd into saying things that were untrue.

To suggest that a functional man can seduce a lesbian woman by “dressing up“ as a woman is a bit ridiculous. This is just another one of those shrill ideas that makes for a good soundbite but which obscures reality. I think we can all agree that when it comes to intimate matters, we all have a right to make our own choices. 🌹
