I sent you a link to a site that fact checked the accuracy of the Bleeding Edge. This is a partial quote from their review. Did you even bother to read the link I sent you?

“The film presents an inaccurate and misleading picture of Essure by relying almost entirely on anecdotes, cherry-picking information to fit a predetermined conclusion, ignoring the full body of scientific evidence that supports the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) determination that Essure's benefits outweigh its risks.”

The problem with so many “documentaries“ that appear to have useful and intriguing information is that they often are full of lies and exaggeration to entertain and create a large audience. Dry, objective presentation of facts without emotional appeal does not sell.

The producers of the Bleeding Edge are much like that. It is no more real than reality television. They came up with a narrative they thought might create an emotional appeal to an audience, and then made up and distorted the facts to fit their narrative. Is not objective information. As I told you before, if you want to learn, read and search the rather dry papers by experts, you know, people with training and experience, who actually studied the subject of interest. Documentaries and social media are not the way to learn about reality. much like Fox News, it is not about objectivity and the truth. It is about creating a large audience and the big monetary return. Ironically, it is the producers of the Bleeding Edge, who claim to be providing an expose of the darkside of the medical device industry, who are actually the ones who are lying for their own business benefit, not the industry they are attacking.
