Interesting that you describe yourself as a conservative Christian. Most people would associate that term with the unthinking fundamentalist knee jerk literalism in interpreting and applying scripture. But I suppose in a broad sense you are conservative. Conservative in the sense that you identify with the authentic values of Jesus rather than rewriting them to suit your own purposes. That kind of conservative, I can embrace.
