It is too bad that the ultra conservatives cannot take a step back and do an objective analysis. There have always been trans and gay people throughout history. For too long we lived in the dark because of fear of how society would treat us. We are hardly a threat. Trans people only represent about 0.6% of the total population. No trans person I know, including myself, has any interest in grooming anyone or forcing people to change their lifestyles. We simply ask for the same right to live our lives fully and in peace as any other human being.
