That is a false equivalency. Alarm bells are going off by ignorant and bigoted people trying to gain political power by demonizing the trans community. The issue of detransitioning is rarely raised. In a few states, like Florida where I live, our politicians have taken the ignorant and uninformed attitude that thinking you are trans is a phase and you will outgrow it. This is an absolute falsehood and contrary to everything we know about the transgender experience. What I shared is that detransitioning needs are not as well known because the problem has been so infinitesimally small that the medical community has not started focusing on it until recently. You are taking right wing propaganda and trying to suggest that it is the truth. It is not. It is another lie, transphobic and harmful to real people who are suffering from the lack of appropriate care. Enough of this already. You’ve bought into the propaganda.
