That is actually very perceptive. Most of the world tends to think of sex and gender as being binary, either male or female. In point of fact, many people exist somewhere on the spectrum between the two and some are fluid, moving closer to one side or the other at different times. It really is not that unusual. You may well be gender nonconforming or non-binary or even gender fluid. It is OK to do you and be you.

One small additional note. There is a difference between gender and gender roles. You can be 100% female or somewhere else on the spectrum and not feel you fit into the expected roles society imposes upon you because of your perceived gender. Those are somewhat arbitrary and have nothing to do with who you are inside or your physical characteristics. It is important to understand that there is a difference.

Just because you appear to be a woman does not mean that you have to enjoy home keeping or child rearing or knitting. If you like climbing mountains and building houses (traditionally viewed as male activities), there’s nothing wrong with that and it has nothing to do with gender per se. Rather, what is deemed appropriate for men and women is based upon societal standards, which are an arbitrary construct and have nothing to do with your underlying reality.
