Tori you nailed it. I’m sure you can’t wait until you have your prescription in hand. The two weeks will fly. To set your mind at ease, I think you will find that most of your experience with people who don’t know that you are transgender will go in a very similar fashion to your doctors appointment. When I first started transitioning, I came out to everyone I knew and everyone I met. I even contacted old friends I hadn’t talked to in years to tell them what was going on. I didn’t care what the reaction would be, and steeled myself for a lot of rejection. Surprisingly what I mostly encountered was a lot of understanding, acceptance, and encouragement. It was a pleasant surprise and has continued to this day. I wish you the same experience. And congratulations. At a minimum you know where your sisters are if you just need some support.
