Unfortunate, but I think you are absolutely correct. Russia’s approach to the treatment of those who are not Slavic residents of mother Russia is to control other groups within the federation at the point of a gun and through brutal intimidation. I do not know of any people anywhere who find this acceptable. It creates burning resentment.
