What an ignorant, arrogant and preposterous comment. My first degree from a very elite Northeastern institution was in Philosophy and Religion. I studied all the world’s major religions as well as non-religious philosophies such as existentialism. I am versed in Kant and Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Camus, Bonhoeffer, Teilhard de Chardin and many others as well. My specific focus was East Asian religion, in particular Hinayana Buddhism, but I studied all the major belief systems, many of which were merely philosophical. Then I got three advanced degrees in medicine and a law degree. Not curious? Are you serious? No one is more curious than I am.
Eleanor Roosevelt famously said great minds talk about ideas; average minds talk about events; and small minds talk about people. Which one do you think you are? Apparently my comment struck a nerve with you, but rather than engaging intellectually, you want to demean me. Kind of sad. There are a lot of small minded people in the world. Too bad you are part of the group.
