You are absolutely right. Most people seem to think that Florida is a red state strong hold. In terms of demographics, this is not actually the case. Most of our elections are razor thin and the Democrats would have much better representation if we could just motivate voters to get out and actually vote, especially in the midterms. The demographics are also changing. More and more people are coming here from other parts of the country that are less bigoted and narrowminded. It will not be long before there will be a substantial majority who are far more progressive in their attitudes. Now if we could just motivate them to use their numbers to get rid of these fascists once and for all.
