Your article is somewhat ironic in that you are propounding your own lies. First, about 30,000 troops were involved in the defense of Bakhmut, not 180,000. Even Russian propaganda claimed no more than 60,000. While the Ukrainians suffered losses, it was a killing ground for the Russians and Wagner, who suffered casualties at a rate of 7 to 1 to that incurred by Ukraine. Bakhmut was never strategically important. The defense was merely a way to degrade Russian military capability because of their insistence on blindly continuing to attack it in waves. Ukraine never denied that Wagner basically took over the city, except for a small southwestern corner. Now that Wagner has withdrawn, Ukraine has basically bypassed the city to the north and south, and attacked the flanks.

The incursion over the border into Belgorod was an operation by two different Russian groups unhappy with the government. It was never an offensive, merely a military incursion to show how weakly defended the borders were and disrupt the lives of the residents along the border. Ukraine may have supported the effort with materials, but it was not a Ukrainian operation. Exactly how stupid do you think we are?
