Your objection was to my original comment where I stated that the concept of “trans lesbian” was a little muddy and needed some tightening up. Many cis lesbians have a problem with it since they consider lesbians as women with vaginas. They have no interest in women with penises and consider such a self designation as lesbian as inaccurate and disingenuous.

I said nothing about two women being friends, whether trans or cis, I certainly agree that two women can be friends and that their biological sex should be irrelevant to such friendship. As a post op trans woman, I have many cis woman friends. I had many before GAS as well. The nature of our relationship in both cases is just two women who like one another.

But the term lesbian encompasses more than that. Your latest response has nothing to do with either of my comments or the original article. I fail to see what your issue is.

BTW the fact you are from the island of Lesbos gives you no particular superior status or knowledge with regard to the term lesbian. It is merely a linguistic term describing women homosexuals which was derived from the name of the island because of ancient sexual practices which occurred there. It has been in common usage for thousands of years.

Eclectic trans woman, terminally curious. Too many degrees. Trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. Attract stray puppies and social outcasts
